About Taylor
I knew I wanted to be a therapist for a long time. After graduate school and prior to licensure, I conducted research in a social psychology lab and worked in higher education as a community organizer. But after a serious health scare, I found myself called to the work of helping others through some of the hardest times of their lives.
My personal values are integrity, curiosity, and growth. I believe that clinicians who engage in their own therapy are better equipped to help clients make progress. This is why I’m committed to my own personal work in therapy. I also regularly consult with colleagues and attend professional trainings to enhance my expertise. You deserve someone who invests in their growth the same way you do.
My approach is primarily informed by evidence-based modalities like Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and EMDR to treat trauma, anxiety, and depression. Most importantly, I work from an interpersonal, process-oriented, and client-centered lens. This means I strongly believe in the value of the therapist-client relationship.
We weren’t meant to do life alone. Yet it still takes a lot of courage to seek support. Especially when you’re the one who “has it all together”.
I encourage you to reach out:

For many people, therapy is the first time their emotions and experiences are fully validated. I’m passionate about creating a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you feel safe to openly explore your thoughts and feelings.
